Japanese Cosmetics Haul (Pretty & Cute)

After testing the waters by purchase of Koji and Kiss Me eyebrow pencils, I may have temporarily lost my mind. And during this lost mind period, I made some fairly hefty Japanese cosmetic orders.

No regrets though. Seeing some familiar products in person again made me smile.

I'm pretty okay with that.

 

I'm convinced that Pretty & Cute either manipulates time or has gotten their hands on teleportation technology, because their shipping is stunningly fast. I've heard from around the web that they have fast shipping. It's no exaggeration. Everything was packed well and in excellent condition.

The first item I picked up was the Fairy Drops mascara in Black. I'm not even going to try and sway the truth so that's it's more favorable. I'm a marketing lemming. That's just the awful truth. The packaging lured me in with its adorable font and colors. And the brush looks unlike anything I've ever seen before. Plus all those exclamation points!

Due to my infatuation with Koji cosmetics and eternal frustration with eyelash curlers not fitting my oddly shaped eyes, I grew much too excited when I saw this extra wide eyelash curler. Spoiler alert! I've used it already and it's amazing. Just stop production of all other eyelash curlers. I'm done.

The last item I picked up was a makeup cleansing milk by Mutenka. My reasoning for buying this one has to do with the fact that I was mildly annoyed about not being able to find a drugstore makeup cleanser at the time. I also liked that this is fairly light on ingredients and fragrance free. Super excited to open this one and give it a try.

Pretty & Cute also included these free things in my order. The bow has a velcro back and is used to keep hair out of the way while you're doing your face things. The other is a sample of a Korean BB cream by the brand Lioele. I'm always happy when freebies are involved.

All in all, ordering from Pretty & Cute was a lovely experience and I'm very happy with all of the products. Coming soon I have a slightly bigger and much more random haul from Imomoko, so look forward to that mess.
