Wet 'n' Wild Megalast Nail Color Swatches

Wet 'n' Wild Megalast: Color Swatches

Not too long ago, I posted a review of the Wet 'n' Wild Megalast nail colors. From the start, I was sincerely impressed by their quality, especially considering that they're so inexpensive. Now, they're back again for some swatching action. Considering I only had four at the time of that post and there are now ten color swatches up above, it's embarrassingly apparent that I'm still obsessed.

From left to right:
  • Under Your Spell
  • Haze of Love
  • Undercover
  • 2% Milk
  • Sugar Coat
  • Heatwave
  • Tropicalia
  • Bite the Bullet
  • Through the Grapevine
  • Disturbia
As you can see, they are all beautifully opaque after two swatches. The only ones that ever give me any difficulty are 2% Milk and Sugar Coat. After three coats, I can usually still see the white tips of my nails. Which isn't exactly uncommon with light polishes, but it's not a look I like.

Tropicalia is a pinker version of Heatwave. So, of course, it won me over immediately. As far as Bite the Bullet, Through the Grapevine, and Disturbia are concerned, I honestly have no complaints. They're each great in their own way, although I happen to especially like Disturbia. Mostly because it's a dark purple that's actually dark purple.

Have you tried out the Wet 'n' Wild Megalast line? Did you unintentionally end up adding a ton of colors to your already bloated nail polish collection? Did you also blame it on the fact that they're only $1.99?
